2nd Field trip organised by FoE and collection of Terrestrial Laser Scanning data

Friends of the Earth Cyprus arranged a 2nd field trip, which took place on the 17th of December. At the Department of Forest in Platania, Mr George Georgiou explained to us how and what information foresters collect on plots with Pinus Brutia. Then, we drived to three of the plots, where he explained to us how they mark trees and how to find the centre of the plot. We choose one of the tree plots and acquired terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) data.
